History
Eatontown was incorporated as a borough in 1926 and borders Ocean Township, Oceanport, Shrewsbury, Tinton Falls and West Long Branch — so it sits right at the edge of our own township. The former Fort Monmouth army base, closed in 2011, straddles Eatontown, Tinton Falls and Oceanport and is now mid-redevelopment, which has brought a run of renovation and fit-out work to the surrounding streets.
